Dr. Sherry Toh
General Dentist

Dr. Sherry Toh has over 30 years of dental experience and has excellent testimonials. Now having practiced for over 33 years, she has seen thousands of patients and treated numerous oral conditions. She is happy to express her continued love and dedication to her work in all things dentistry. She has extensive experience in Restorations (fillings), Oral Surgery, Removable Dentures, Periodontics (gum care), Endodontics (root canals), Pedodontics (children care), Crowns & Bridges, Veneers and Bleaching.

Sherry earned her degree in Dental Surgery in 1990 from the National University of Singapore. The University is ranked number 11 in the world. Right after the global top 10 of U.K. and U.S. universities. (source: QS World University Rankings 2023 — www.topuniversities.com).

She has practiced in Singapore, and thereafter also practiced in Oxford, England.

Dr. Sherry Toh further graduated from the Canadian National Dental Examining Board with strong grades, especially in the areas of Diagnosis and Treatment Planning. She proceeded to become a registered professional dentist in good standing with the province of British Columbia.

Sherry has also been a past practice owner prior to her current directorship at Alpine Dental Centre. She has been practicing here at Alpine Dental Centre since inception in the year 2000. Through the years, Sherry has also donated many hours of dental treatment services to the underprivileged.

In her years of professional practice, Dr. Toh has served thousands of patients and earned stellar patient testimonials. She has good long-standing relationships with her patients. Several patients would commute significant distances to be treated by her. Some travel regularly from Vancouver, and even Vancouver Island, and from inland BC.

Dr. Toh brings a zeal for family Dentistry to the Fraser Valley community. She is gentle and her work is thorough. Her mission is to help patients achieve their personal goals through good dental health and great smiles.

Felix Yong
Office Manager

Felix is a keen and crazy golfer who loses too many balls on each round. He enjoys friendly humor, Starbucks and Tim Horton’s coffee, Christian fellowships, and he plays outdated songs on the piano.

On a more serious note however, Mr. Yong graduated on the Dean’s List from the City University of Seattle, WA, in 1999 where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree.

Prior to a career in business management, Felix held professional positions in engineering and aviation. He holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and has had extensive commercial aviation training and licensing. His experience include stints at Hewlett Packard and Printed Circuits International. Engineering accomplishments include a world’s first prize in robotics — awarded in London, UK, in an international contest.

Felix was the turnkey project manager for Alpine Dental Centre, establishing the office in Chilliwack. Since then, he has continued to wear many hats — serving functions in business operations, HR, I.T., and Finance.

Felix’s vast background gleaned from various industries helps the company work effectively and set service standards. Dental assistants and administrative staff have benefited from his guidance. He has a proven aptitude for management systems, developing efficient work flow for dental offices to improve patient care.

In other responsibilities, Felix has served as Trustee and Treasurer for a Registered Christian Charity in Burnaby, BC. He has also served as a management adviser to various businesses.
